i love halloween and i love bats- my favourite is the greater horseshoe bat. sadly we dont get bats this far north, but i still love to make them

Full description
A cute wee bat needle felted from native North Ronaldsay sheep wool and dyed Shetland hairy ears and nose. Wings are faux leather, with pipecleaner structural bones- which are posable to make the wings as curled as you like
Comes with a free line of "invisible" monofilament thread and a clear map pin, for attaching to a ceiling. Batty can "fly" if the clear thread is held and jerked up and down in time with wing flaps!
I make a few of these in the run up to Halloween (my favourite festivity).
Please note these are NOT TOYS as they contain fibres that can lead to choking should they be chewed by children or animals. For ornamental use oinly.
