Handcrafted in small batches on my Aga in North Wales, this Carrog Y Coed Heritage Face Cream combines locally sourced Welsh tallow with Royal Welsh award-winning beeswax, nourishing apricot kernel oil, and zinc oxide (a natural mineral, non-nano).
Uplifted by the gentle scent of Sweet Orange and Frankincense essential oils, it’s a cream that feels both heritage-inspired and naturally luxurious.
Tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E & K and has a fatty acid profile close to human sebum, making it highly compatible with skin and deeply moisturising. Apricot kernel oil adds a light, silky touch and is naturally high in Vitamin E, while zinc oxide is valued for its soothing and protective qualities, helping skin feel calm and balanced.
The result is a cream that absorbs beautifully, leaving skin soft, smooth, and comforted, with a gentle citrus-resin fragrance.
