All my ideas stem from simple shapes as a starting point, and after creating a pair of earrings with long rectangular shape and gold leaf at the end of the shape I decided to create a necklace based on these. With this design I connect together the individual shapes with gold colour plated wire adding detail as well as being functional.

Full description
Long porcelain pendant using the idea of simple shapes connected together with gold colour plated wire, finished with gold leaf and hanging from two strands of silk cord. The design is unique and would create interest when seen acting as a statement piece.
