Full description
47g of hand spun wool blend. The wool I used to spun this was sourced from a British Textile Mill and is a mix of different breeds. This wool has been commercially scoured before being spun. While every attempt has been made to remove all straw and debris a very small amount may still be incorporated into the wool.
This wool has then been mordanted with Alum, and dyed with Hedge Bedstraw from my dye garden. This dye has good wash and light fastness. Please hand wash only.
As with all hand spun yarn, there is some variation in the thickness of the wool, which adds to its character. This yarn is approximately DK weight and would be suitable for wool craft such as knitting and crochet.
