I visited a Thelwell exhibition last year and loved the atmosphere, with visitors all smiling and giggling. I hope that my interpretation makes people smile.

Full description
A Thelwell-inspired wool sculpture of a little girl and her pony jumping a fence. Made with a wire armature and completely needlefelted by hand with wool and special needles over many, many days.
Needlefelting is a fascinating craft, there is a lot planning goes into my sculptures and it very different building something from the inside out - at one time the poor pony resembled a roast chicken and, from certain angles, it still does!
I love this sculpture so much I'd really rather it wasn't sold! But if you promise you will look after them ...
Dimensions are 32cm high by 33cm long by 15cm deep.
Weighs under 200 gms.
