The idea to make these lace collars grew out of a need to hold onto something beautiful and meaningful during a very difficult time. Lace-making has always been part of our cultural heritage in Ukraine, a craft passed down through generations that carries patience, care, and quiet strength in every stitch. Creating these collars became not just a way to honour that tradition, but also a way to bring light and purpose in the middle of hardship. Each piece is made slowly and thoughtfully by hand, as a reminder that even in uncertainty, beauty and resilience can endure. For me, these collars are more than just accessories — they are small symbols of freedom, hope, and connection, designed to be worn and cherished in everyday life.
