My synaesthesia is a big influence in everything I make. As someone who sees sound, music is deeply important and I love making physical representations of the songs I like to listen to. This scarf is inspired by the track Kings and Queens by Ava Maxx. I decided to work with texture rather than colour, so the patterning of the scarf is representative of the song rather than the colour.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Kings and Queens is a hand knitted scarf with a beautiful laddered design detail. It's also super, super squooshy! It's a genderless knit, so it's perfect for keeping any body snuggly in the colder months.
It's available right now in this gorgeous Muted Rainbow colourway - beautiful and eye-catching, and hopefully bright enough to lift your spirits on a less than bright day.
Kings and Queens is knitted from a pattern I wrote myself.
WASHING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS - Kings and Queens is knitted with a wool and acrylic mix yarn, so it likes a gentle machine wash at 30 degrees, but it definitely doesn't want to meet your tumble dryer!
