I’ve always loved pop up books and illustration, and would spend hours poring over them as a child, always trying to spot a little detail which might have escaped me or been deliberately hidden by the artist. I love detail, decoration and discovery in others’ creations - whether in a drawing, an unexpected object turned into a something extraordinary, or a garden full of hidden surprises - and try to evoke that feeling of delight through my own creations.

This colour, cut out and assemble yourself craft kit contains everything you need to create a charming 3D scene of a cosy cafe. From the gently steaming coffee to the resident cat looking out on the blustery autumnal street, each layer adds to the depth of this atmospheric scene. Makes an ideal gift for coffee and book lovers alike!
Suitable for watercolours, pencil crayons, gouache or felt tips, once coloured each layer is partially cut out to reveal the entire scene, to create the perfect diorama. This can then be presented either as a framed piece of art or as a freestanding 'tunnel book', to be picked up.
Want an easier option? The kit box itself is the perfect size to be used as a frame and can be decorated and customised to add to the effect (see photos for inspo). With full instructions included, each kit comes with a tiny LED which creates a magical ‘shadow box’ effect at night. So, discover for yourself or give someone else the magic of creating this quirky, picturesque little paper world!
Constructed with 5 layers of watercolour paper into a 3D scene depicting a cosy cafe scene looking out onto a rainy street with a black cat in the window. Size 10cm x 8cm. Just add colouring materials, a craft knife (or small scissors) and glue.
