My inspiration was the idea of beauty and preciousness using the simplicity of shapes with gold colour plated wire combined with the porcelain and silk cord to capture this. The starting point to the design was through sketching ideas in a sketchbook.

Blue porcelain pendant with crushed white porcelain detail embedded into the blue porcelain hanging from four strands of silk cord connected together using gold colour plated wire created through experimentation in the craft studio with the idea of beauty and simplicity with complexity.
