I have been contemplating making this style of jewellery for years and this year, after years of exploring materials, I started looking for unique antique and vintage materials. This is going to be a very enriching journey.

I enjoyed very much making this assemblage necklace. Luckily, these vintage leather needle cases pop up every now and again on the internet.
I matched the small wallet pendant with other vintage unique materials found mostly in charity shops, which I collected over the years: beads from vintage necklaces, carved bone beads, vintage aged key and key reward tag, vintage Thai medal and rosary bead, tribal beads. On the brown cotton fabric cord I stitched small crocheted circles which match the pattern of the carved bone beads.
Dimensions: 9 cm x 5.7 cm, fabric cord length - 61 cm. The longest hanging element is 8 cm long.
