Full description
This depiction of an Orca rising off the Northern Islands of Scotland has been painted in Oil, capturing the essence of the incredible views of the Orkney Islands. The inspiration drawn from these stunning landscapes brings a unique connection to this artwork. Orcas are prevalent in the waters around Orkney and the Pentland Firth. An interesting fact about these fascinating mammals is that each of the markings seen is as individual to each Orca as a fingerprint is to a human.
