Full description
This elegant and classic 14kt gold filled necklace is handmade with sapphire gemstone beads - the traditional birthstone for September - and freshwater pearls. It is lovingly handcrafted at my home in Aberdeenshire, with meticulous attention to detail. Every link and wrap is individually formed using high quality gold filled wire. The necklace is finished with a spring ring clasp and extension chain giving a variable length of 40.5-45cm in length. The extension chain features a freshwater pearl for extra detail.
Perfect as a meaningful gift for a September birthday, or as a special treat for a loved one or yourself. It's elegant, yet simple design, makes this versatile piece ideal for both daytime wear and special occassions, transitioning seamlessly from day to night.
Gold filled jewellery is created by pressure bonding a layer of gold to a base metal. Gold filled jewellery is often deemed an affordable alternative to solid gold. It offers superior quality to gold plated jewellery, has greater resistance to tarnish and is hypoallergenic.
