Spun Cotton is a vintage folk craft technique originating in Germany in the mid 19th century. It takes several days to layer and shape the cotton over a wire armature and then let the piece dry naturally. The spun cotton is then hand painted. The art is slow and fiddly but the outcome is rewardingly beautiful.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A beautiful little hoop measuring roughly 10cm across. This hoop is decorated with dried flowers and fluffy upcycled fabric ‘moss’. Three twisty spun cotton mushrooms decorate the centre, hand painted with wired stems and sewn into place. Comes with a jute twine hanger attached.
