I wanted to create a whimsical but spooky scene depicting the interior of a witch's house, and had fun adding lots of little details paying homage to witchcraft and magical lore. I have two black cats so obviously had to include an appropriate witch's familiar. I also wanted to give a glimpse to the full moon outside in the night sky.

Full description
This A6 greetings card is blank for your own message and comes with an envelope, although it may also be kept as a small art print. It features a print of my painting Dreams in the Witch House, a spooky scene lit by a full moon. A large cauldron bubbles in the centre of the room and the inhabitant's familiar, a black cat, looks on. A broomstick rests against the window sill and various occult symbols and tools of witchcraft can be spotted around the room and on the shelf.
The original painting was completed using mixed media, including acrylic paint, metallic markers and various pens.
