Thank you for visiting my shop, I'm adding more listings to my shop each week so please come back again soon to see more of my art work.
Looking out to sea I feel as though I’m seeing an old friend who never ceases to surprise me. The powerful ocean still mostly unexplored, so effected by us and how we live has so much still to teach us.
I hope that my seascapes draw the eye in and let them explore enabling you to leave the troubles pf the day behind even if It’s only for a few minutes.

Full description
Almost a monochrome painting studying the play of light across the ocean as the cloud dance past above. I feel almost as if you can smell the clean clear air when looking at this wonderfully messy little painting. Staring out to sea I often find myself wondering about how all the life in there is coping at the moment with having to share the planet with us and the mess we are managing to make.
Using only three colours, (white, ultra marine blue and burnt umber) and my trusty pallet knife, I wanted to push myself by trying to focus purely on the light keeping everything else very loose.
Dimensions: the painting itself is 30cm square and framed 34cm square.
