Welcome to Amyiris! In my shop you can find brooches, magnets and prints made from original art. I have a love of decorative pattern and I hope this shines through in the things that I have made. The gift of decorative pattern for a special someone in your life or just for you.
The design is inspired from a photograph I took of a flower type motif whilst on holiday in Italy. I was just sitting in the restaurant admiring the tiles on the walls. I took a lot of photos in there! I hope you enjoy giving this or wearing it yourself. Perhaps a pick-me up treat!

Full description
This is an eyecatching design with a pattern often seen in architecture. Everytime I see it - it makes me smile. I have used this motif many times just enjoying the variations that seem to keep coming. I love the orange and blue combination of colours. I printed the design onto a wooden transfer paper and hand painted the wooden disc with a blue water colour. I varnish it before and after placing the wood transfer. I also enjoy matching the fabric I use for the brooches display card. They sometimes do get mixed up!
The wooden pin is 3.4cm in diameter. It's presented with card board backing when folded is 10.5cm length and 7.3cm width. It is gift wrapped in a card folder with a ribbon which you can untie and write your own message. I include a free notelet if you don't want to write on the brooch packaging. If you want to say a message on the back there is a list of ready made ones for you to choose. If you want a particular name to be added on the back then contact me via the "Note to seller" option at checkout . Thanks for looking at my brooches!
