this little chap spent thirty or so years inside my parents oak furniture which i repurposed into wood turning blanks when they no longer needed it.

Full description
Vase made from a pieces of reclaimed oak. The oak is treated with an home made ebonising solution that reacts with the oils in the wood to create an almost black colouration that varies depending on the grain patterns.
Ideal for displaying a colourful flower from your garden, the shape and contrasting grain is sure to draw attention.
65 mm diameter 155 mm tall. Inner diameter is approximately 35mm
