Welcome to Amyiris! In my shop you can find brooches, magnets and prints made from original art. I have a love of decorative pattern and I hope this shines through in the things that I have made. The gift of decorative pattern for a special someone in your life or just for you.
The design is inspired from a china mug that I was using when I stayed in a place called "Little Castle" hence the title "Little Chateau" in Lincolnshire for my 50th Birthday. Originally I drew the whole mug from a photograph but chose the patterned edging for the brooch. You can see many patterns within the design. Let's celebrate those milestone birthdays with a gift you can keep.

Full description
My name for this piece is "My Little Chateau Pink." Click on the inspiration link below for more information. I decided to add a 1970's colour theme as I love those colourways. A talking point with your Nan? This little wooden brooch design is from a china cup I used when I stayed at an historic property. I then printed the design onto wooden transfer paper and next I hand painted the wooden disc with a brown water colour. I varnish it before and after placing the wood transfer.
The wooden pin is 3.4cm in diameter. It's presented with card board backing when folded is 10.5cm length and 7.3cm width. It is gift wrapped in a card folder with a ribbon which you can untie and write your own message. I include a free notelet if you don't want to write on the brooch packaging. If you want to say a message on the back there is a list of ready made ones for you to choose.
