This costume was inspired by the idea of bringing woodland folklore and fairy tales to life.
I wanted to capture that feeling in a wearable piece, something that would make the wearer feel like they had stepped straight out of a storybook. The gold tones were chosen to reflect sunlight breaking through the trees, giving the costume a radiant, otherworldly glow.

Step into the magic of the forest with this one-of-a-kind fairy costume, designed and handmade in Liverpool. Inspired by woodland enchantment, this shimmering gold outfit is perfect for festivals, fantasy photoshoots, woodland weddings or simply bringing a touch of fairy sparkle to a special occasion.
Each costume is made to measure for a comfortable and flattering fit. The dress features a side zip, an adjustable criss-cross tie-back and a halter-style neckline that ties for security and flexibility.
Your costume will include:
- A flowing dress lined in soft gold lamé
- Sequin wings, crafted with a wire frame, organza and elastic straps for easy wear
- A matching crown to complete the fairy look
Individually handcrafted, and because each feather and sequin appliqué is placed by hand, the design and pattern will vary slightly. This means every pair is truly unique — no two sets of wings are ever exactly the same.
Every detail is carefully handmade using a combination of sequin mesh, lamé, feathers, organza, elastic and wire. These materials were chosen not only for their durability, but also for the way they catch the light and move gracefully as you do.
