The Treasure Within” was born from my belief that the most valuable parts of us aren’t always visible at first glance. Just like gold hidden beneath layers of earth, our inner strength, resilience, and beauty often reveal themselves only when light touches them.
When I painted this piece, I used texture to symbolize the layers we carry in life—the experiences, struggles, and growth that shape us. The gold accents represent the treasures within those layers: moments of joy, wisdom, and self-discovery that shine through when we allow ourselves to be seen.
This artwork is my reminder that even through challenges, there is always light and value within us waiting to emerge.
