I love nature and birds in particular, and find their migrations fascinating. Brent geese visit the Isle of Wight in the winter from their summer breeding grounds in arctic Canada, Greenland, Svalbard and Siberia. They move around the island to respond to the tides as they cover and uncover their feeding grounds on the shores and mudflats.

Full description
This is a large watercolor behind glass in a contemporary frame. Inspired by watching Brent Geese flying to their roosting sites on a winters evening in Shalfleet nature reserve on the Isle of Wight.
