I originally designed this for our own cats, Angus and Erik. We wanted a cat tree that was both practical and beautiful, but everything we found was either flimsy, too small, or simply didn’t look right in a home with nice furniture. The cats weren’t interested in using them either. So I set out to create something different a strong, well-crafted piece that they would love to climb and lounge on, and at the same time, something we’d be proud to have on display in our living room. A piece of cat furniture that feels more like a design feature than a compromise.
