I’ve only been working with glass for a couple of years, but since the first time I tried it, I have been hooked. I am a magnet to colour and there are so many options of beautiful glass to try, the ideas never stop forming of what to do with it, and boredom never comes. Glass fusing is very addictive.

Full description
Handcrafted in Wiltshire by myself, these vibrant hearts are made from COE90 bullseye glass. The glass for this style of heart has been fired twice in a kiln.
The first firing process needs a temperature of up to 1,500°F to fuse 6 layers of glass together permanently. This first firing, including cooling, takes 18 hours approximately.
The glass is then fired again at a temperature of up to 1,500°F to gently shape it. This second firing, including cooling, takes a further 20 hours approximately.
Therefore, it is a long process to make these, but definitely worth it, as they are very individual.
This heart will come with an acrylic stand, perfect for displaying on a windowsill or shelf. The heart has a flat back.

Be assured, their kiln-fused colours are fade-resistant.
