Full description
Bring colour and light into your home with this handmade stained glass ornament. Crafted in my Blackpool home studio using the traditional copper foil technique, each vibrant section of glass has been hand-cut, ground, foiled, and soldered before being finished with a black patina for contrast. The piece is polished and waxed to ensure a long-lasting shine.
The round glass measures 14.5 cm across and sits in a natural wooden stand measuring 19 cm wide and 4 cm deep, with a total height of 17 cm when assembled. It features a joyful mix of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and purple glass that glows beautifully when placed on a sunny windowsill, shelf, or table.
This two-part design is easy to assemble – simply slot the glass into the stand and secure with the side screws. It arrives carefully wrapped in white tissue paper and finished with a purple ribbon, ready to give as a gift. I can also include a handwritten card and send directly to your recipient.
