I want to raise money for a nearby care home charity that looks after my mum and mum-in-law.
Saw this pattern online, though the flip flops were made with an embroidery machine, which I don't have, so I designed the flip flops with applique instead.
The pockets are very handy and the inside is roomy for beach towels, or shopping.
Made with vintage materials and some sewing remnants (aiming for zero waste) Definitely original!

Full description
This bag is a good size at 27cm high and 42 cm wide.
It has a rectangular base of 30cm x12.5 cm.
Made from vintage remnants and some cotton snippets to make the applique flip flops. There are 3 pockets to the front, ideal for sunglasses, suntan lotion etc.
The inside is lined with another vintage piece of dressmaking lining fabric.
There is stiffening between the main fabric and lining which has been stitched like quilting to give the bag some rigidity.
