We had a bundle of wee hangers, which gave us an excuse to go on a charit shop hunt and found some lovely wee shirts to upcycle.

From shirt to storage — this peg bag is a clever upcycle with plenty of character.
This upcycled peg bag began life as a child’s shirt, now cleverly reimagined into a handy storage pouch. The hanger is sewn neatly inside, so it’s ready to hang on the line, behind a door, or in the utility room.
Its button-up front hides a roomy pocket, just the right size for clothes pegs — but equally useful for tights, socks, or other little laundry odds and ends.
Measuring 30cm wide by 36cm tall, it’s a cheerful and practical twist on everyday storage. A one-of-a-kind piece with a sense of humour and a sustainable story stitched right in.
