In 2019 I submitted my first crochet silver lace necklace to a Fine Art Show. When it was accepted, the gift shop got in touch and asked for more related pieces to sell alongside my display piece. It was at this time I was sat up many nights in a row thinking of all of the elegant different floral designs I could create. I ran out of inspiration and decided to take a walk through the woods to clear my head. Seeing the diversity of the forest floor, and finding beauty in it all, not just the flowers I had intentionally planted, I decided to create the Wildflower collection.
For me it represented the ability to find beauty wherever you are and the 'bloom where you're planted' mindset. The collection was a success and I have been making Wildflowers ever since.
I love finding inspiration in the natural world and marrying them with crochet lace patterns from the 1830s. It creates something unique, timeless, and that honors this beautiful heritage craft in a modern way.

This beautiful double bloom pendant has been hand crafted from Eco Fine Silver.
It is a lightweight statement piece that will shine on any occasion.
Accompanied by a high quality 18" Sterling Silver Rope Chain.
Handmade in Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Size: Around two inches in diameter.
Chain: 18" recycled Sterling Silver - made by a company in Wales using antique cutlery.
Creation process: It has been created using recycled .999 silver wire and antique hand tools (stainless steel hooks dating back to the 1940s) in the solar powered Twisted Fern Studio.
About crochet silver: The knotting technique makes crochet silver lace flexible, light, and strong, much like and elegant chainmail. These designs can easily withstand daily wear, are comfortable to wear, and much stronger than they look. The 999 Fine silver wire I use is reclaimed from medical and industrial machinery then given a new lease of life as a long lasting piece of unique wearable art.
Packaging: Your new piece will be lovingly packaged in the black box pictured, then posted in a recycled protective packaging. Each order will come with a thank you note and a card with care instructions and info about your new purchase.
