Full description

Handcrafted dainty/small freshwater potato pearl drop earrings, which will arrive nicely presented in a gift box. Size of A grade pearls: 5mm - 5.5mm (-)

These ear-rings are made with gold filled 14k, 120th findings and wires.

Freshwater pearls symbolize purity, harmony and humility. Pearls are organic gems that grow within clams and other mollusks. Freshwater pearls are formed when a foreign object acts as an irritant inside the shell. Pearls are the birthstone for the month of June.

Perfect 30th Wedding Anniversary or June birthstone birthday present.

Gold filled jewellery comprises a solid layer of gold (14k) permanently pressure bonded to a base metal, such as brass. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating. Gold filled jewellery is much more valuable than jewellery that is gold plated. In order for something to be considered gold filled, it must have a gold content of at least 120th the total weight of the item. It is very hard wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake, unlike gold plate. It wont tarnish and will not rub off or turn colours.

Gold filled jewellery can be worn daily without fear of fading or rubbing off. 14k gold fill jewellery, providing proper care is carried out, can last a lifetime.

Wearers who are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled without worries of an allergic reaction.
