Full description

The artisan lampwork glass beads are handcrafted by a glassmaker in Cornwall. I then use these handcrafted glass beads to make into drop/dangle earrings using sterling silver findings and wires throughout.

These glass beads are made from turquoise, ivory and black with silvered ivory stringer and a little fine raku frit. A pleat effect has been cut into the hot glass. The beads have then been treated in the the flame to give an aged, pitted look to them.

Total length: 60mm; Width of beads: 13mm

Due to the nature of the handcrafted glass, no two pieces are ever quite the same so you can be sure you're wearing something special.

Colours may differ slightly from monitor to monitor as not all screen resolutions are set the same.

The earrings will arrive nicely presented in a black and white gift box.

By the very nature of sterling silver, there is no way to protect it from tarnishing because sterling silver reacts with so many materials found in everyday life. The best way to reduce tarnish build-up is to actually wear your sterling silver jewellery often. When sterling silver is not worn it tarnishes quickly. Unavoidable I'm afraid, but perfectly normal and nothing to be concerned by, and it can easily be removed with a silver polishing cloth or polishing cream.
