Full description
This one of a kind stained glass panel, made with ocean blue colours, is handmade to my own design using traditional fusing and stained glass leading techniques.
A surfer and wave were painted onto the central panel with glass paints before being fired in a kiln to set the paint.
The glass is cut to size by hand and assembled using lead came. Two hooks are added for the black metal chain and the completed panel is finished with a dark patina. A final coat of polish gives a nice lustre to the lead lines.
A beautiful display for a sunny window, this piece would make a memorable gift.
