A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
If you are shopping for Christmas, please order before December 19th to ensure it gets to you before Christmas Day. My shop will be open over the festive period.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
This is a framed impasto painting based on trips to the west coast of Scotland. I have for thick layers of acrylic paint mixed with water based cold wax to outline the mountains and small white cottages in the distance. The sun has been beating down and cast deep yellow shadows over the land and sea. I have let the layers of paint build up to help give a sense of the ruggedness and rockiness of the coast.
Enjoy the drama of the coast everyday with this original interpretation of Highland living.
