My inspiration for these unique zip pulls truly began right here, on the canal. The practical, strong nature of paracord has always fascinated me, especially its use in outdoor and survival gear. I wanted to transform this incredibly durable material into something both functional and visually distinctive for everyday use. As I worked with the cord, the particular knot and weave of this design struck me – it just looked so much like a little figure wrapped in cloth, almost like an ancient Egyptian mummy. It's a blend of robust utility, a touch of playful history, and the tranquil setting of my canal-side workshop that brought these 'mummy' zip pulls to life.
