My favourite time of year is Autumn and close to where I live is an annual scarecrow festival. Inspired by the villagers wonderful creations I thought I would have a go at a gingerbread scarecrow design. I’ve loved making this decoration and enjoyed working with the different fabrics.

Full description
A sweet little scarecrow hanging decoration ready for Autumn. Hand sewn to my own design using felt, gingham fabric and lightweight denim fabric and lightly filled with toy stuffing. A twine hanging loop allows this decoration to be hung anywhere in the home. Approximately 12 cm high with a 9cm loop drop. Please be advised that this has been made for decoration purposes and is not intended as a toy. Please note that the fringing on the scarecrow is very delicate.
