I was inspired by the resurgence of the game backgammon . I love the shapes of the pointy triangle and then the round draughts stacking on the top, also the bright colours of the new sets.

The black round shapes ( checkers) hang on the front of the earrings attached by a jump ring, the ring is pronounced at the front of the earring rather than the back so it doesn't catch easily onto your hair.
Gold-plated metal kidney ear wire hooks. Kidney wire ear ring components are an elegant alternative to the traditional fish hook ear wire. Kidney wires feature a hook closure for extra security.
Gold-plated jump rings which are EU Nickel compliant
All metal fixings have been purchased from a Manchester based jewellery fixings store and not from a marketplace for safety reasons.
