I wanted to find a pattern that showcased the colour of this yarn and found this design on Pinterest. It was also important to me to find a design that maximised the limited quantity of yarn I had, and continued working on it until I ran out of yarn.

Full description
This is a medium sized crochet blanket perfect for relaxing in an armchair, in the car or maybe a wheelchair/ pushchair user.
This blanket was made using the pattern Rainbow Through the Storm, designed by Melly Elly Crochets. I chose to use this pattern to make a statement of the lovely green yarn! The final blanket size (100x100cm) was decided when I ran out of green cotton yarn which I had purchased second hand. (Coincidentally, I actually managed to get this yarn part used from 2 different sellers which felt like finding a needle in a haystack) The black is made up of lots of different balls of black acrylic, some of which were leftovers from other projects and some of which were brought second hand.
