Full description
An original painting of a turtle hand painted by myself, Jennifer Hunter.
It was created using acrylic paint on a 30cm diameter birch wood artists panel.
I had fun with this painting, using different methods to apply the paint. From regular paintbrushes on the turtle, to printing with bubble wrap, stickle bricks and real leaves to add depth and texture to the sea and corals.
The wooden board has a thick cradle on the back for support and this allows easy hanging.
The paint is protected with a matt varnish.
It is not advised to hang the painting in direct sunlight or hot or humid areas.
