The Norse Sea Goddess Ran with her net ambiguously either waiting for unfortunate travellers, victims of rough seas, or was she lying in wait to lure them down to her hall beneath the brine? More about this project can be found on my blog under the tag Rans Net.
An original miniature mixed media ocean myth inspired art piece on paper measuring 13x18.5cm, this piece comes unmounted and unframed. The listing is for the piece in the first image - the third image shows it with a companion piece that is available separately in store.
Whilst every care is taken in photographing the artwork please be aware that colours can vary according to your monitor settings.
The materials used in the print are artist’s quality to ensure longevity but as with all original artwork it is best hung out of direct sunlight.
I am a full-time artist working on the beautiful Dorset coast which provides constant inspiration. My work has been exhibited in Dorset, Southampton, Cornwall and the Channel Islands and is in private collections in Europe, Canada and Australia.
