This print was inspired by spring and summer bike along the country roads around Thirsk and includes beautiful hedgerow flowers and my favourite view of The Kilburn White Horse.

Full description
White Horse View - Original handmade 18 colour reduction lino print of a Yorkshire summer hedgerow near Thirsk with the famous Kilburn White Horse on thf hillside in the distance. It s inspired by summer bike rides along the gorgeous county lanes around my hometown of Thirsk. It s not a digital print but a completely Handmade and hand printed individual piece of original artwork on Japanese printmakers paper made with quality Cranfield Caligo Safewash water based inks using a Sizzix Big Shot Pro converted printing press. Each of the colour layers has been printed from the same block over a period of around a month as each layer dries and the block is carefully cut away and the next colour is printed. From a limited series of 32 prints each is individually hand made and has differing variations in tone and each is a unique piece of art.
