Curlew Meadow - Giclée Print of my original handmade 10 colour layer reduction lino print of a curlew in a Yorkshire Dales flower meadow.
A Giclée print is a high-quality reproduction of an original artwork created using an inkjet printer.
The term "Giclée" comes from the French word gicleur, which means "to spray". This refers to the way the printer sprays ink to create the print
Giclée prints are known for their high quality, longevity, and value. They are considered the closest physical duplication of an artwork.
Gicl e prints are made using high-quality, archival-grade inks and paper. The inks are pigment-based and UV stable.
The process of creating a gicl e print involves using a high-resolution camera or scanner to capture the original artwork, and then printing it on archival-quality paper with a large format inkjet printer.
