I love using the artwork of my sister in making my books; I like to use her work in different ways - on the cover, as endpapers or as colourful spines. Here I have used a style of binding where her work is not obscured at all by stitching or by book cloth - the cover is all hers!

Full description
The vibrant and colourful cover of this handmade book was painted by my talented sister so it is a unique book that will not be found elsewhere. It has an exposed spine and is bound using French link stitching across different colour ribbons. Inside there are many pages of excellent quality cream pages. This style of binding allows the book to open wide and the pages lie flat so it is great for people who want to draw and paint, though it would also make a lovely notebook.
