With my paintings, I am inspired by taking a small section of something that I find beautiful and enlarging it on the canvas or paper. It would always be something that would be overlooked, for example a small section of a reflection of something or an area whereby the eye would not focus on. This painting was inspired by nature and the flow of water

Full description

This watercolour pencil abstract ring design features warm brown and classic blue flecks, created on watercolour paper.

It is elegantly framed in a thick white contemporary frame, complete with a back stand, wall fixing, and a glass front.

The piece is signed and dated, with approximate measurements of 11 x 9 inches and a thickness of 1.5 inches.

As the front is glass, I have had to photograph the artwork without the glass front. It does look smoother when the glass is put back in.
