I LOVE working with felt - it is so fun to work with. When I was given a beautiful noticeboard for my birthday, I just knew it needed a SMILE banner to hang along the top.
After a little planning and crafting, and then some more planning and crafting, that cute banner became the perfect addition to my noticeboard.
Once I made that banner though, I just couldn’t stop…and the rest is history.

Full description
Made using 100% wool felt, this beautifully designed banner is lovingly created and designed to last. Each scallop is made from ecru coloured wool felt and is approximately 6cm wide, 6cm tall and 4mm thick.
Each letter, which is shown in a beautiful streamlined font, is also made of 100% wool felt and secured with glue.
The letter colours are as follows:
S - Mustard
M - Teal
I - Green
L - Pink
E - Brown
The scallops are joined together with green and white baker’s twine, with about 50cm extra at each end to allow for hanging. The length of the banner with each of the scallops touching is around 30cm. It looks cute in any room.
