I am inspired by my deep love of nature and animals and its ability to uplift and calm in our busy, often overwhelming world. I live at the foot of the South Downs in Worthing, West Sussex and I often photograph the flowers I discover on walks with my family and love painting them in my small studio. I am a graphic designer of 22 years by trade and the ability to turn my paintings into prints and patterns enables me to merge my passion for art and design.

This tropical macaw and orange gerbera tea towel adds a pop of vibrant colour to your kitchen this spring and summer. Featuring my original acrylic hand-painted artwork of juicy oranges, stunning macaw parrots, monarch butterflies and orange gerberas, this nature-inspired design is full of cheerful energy - perfect for bird lovers, gardeners, and those who adore botanical style.
When I sat down to paint the designs for the 'Citrus Isle' tea towels, I was inspired by a memory that’s stayed with me for years - a sun-drenched holiday to Italy.
That warmth - the golden light, the colour, the relaxed rhythm of sun, sea and gelato - was what I wanted to pour into 'Citrus Isle'. It’s a piece of that paradise for your kitchen. Each one features my original hand-painted artwork, exclusive to Skip & Oat, and printed in the UK on 100% cotton.
