they might kill you, they might not: a sweet little mushroom family of delightfully toxic death caps. (they absolutely will kill you. super cute to look at, but terrible guests at a dinner party.)
this artwork is an original collaged piece on khadi paper, made with layers of paint and papers of various types, such as vintage, printed and handmade tissue papers. the mushrooms are hand drawn on a separate piece of khadi paper, coloured with watercolour paints, and each one is then cut out, and added as a final layer to the collage. the whole piece is then mounted onto an A6 sized piece of textured paper (300gsm), which i have painted with a paynes grey to give a dark surround/background.
