Full description

This has to be my favourite design, I made these spoon rings from early 20th century Norwegian silver teaspoons, by a well known silver smith Thorvold Marthinsen. Hallmarked as 830 silver which was the standard up until the 1920's I believe.

I use the whole spoon fashion a traditional spoon ring, no cuts or welds, the design is of the Rococo style which is perfect for these rings, bringing the spoons out of the drawer and making them a wearable fashionable piece of jewelry, and family heirloom.

I can make these from size P to Z, I do have a limited number of spoons, so please be quick to order.

The whole spoon is used in the making of the ring, no welds or soldering used in keeping with how they were traditionally made and allows for adjustment. Please message me after purchase with your ring size, and allow me a few days to make the ring to your specifications.

Spoon rings originated in the 17th century, often made by servants who couldn’t afford traditional rings for their beloveds. They’d re-purpose silver spoons into beautiful rings, turning everyday items into symbols of love and commitment.

Thorvold Marthinsen workshop continues today and was founded in 1883

Shipping for this ring will be 'Royal Mail signed for 2nd class', delivery within 2 -3 working days including Saturdays, this will require a signature on delivery.
