I made 2 of these bags from a reclaimed John Lewis table runner, the fabric of which is very good quality. The Indian style fabric seemed destined for a yoga mat bag.

A handmade yoga mat or blanket bag in a rainbow striped strong woven cotton fabric.
The bag features:
Wide, comfortable strap with adjustable slider
Bootlace drawstring
Mobile phone flap pocket with Velcro-fastening.
All seams finished with an overlocker.
Dimensions: 72cm long x 26cm diameter
