We use Royal Mail for envelopes and small parcels. Larger parcels, including most artworks, are sent to either a Parcelshop or Lockers.
Although this is not as convenient as having a delivery to your home, it does offer two benefits. Firstly, it is much cheaper and no one likes to spend more than they have to, and secondly, the parcels are subjected to significantly less handling and so are much less likely to be damaged in transit.
If you prefer, we can arrange for delivery directly to you. Let us know, and we can discuss costs prior to shipment.
Another experiment. One of the better ones. Every day you learn something new about the media you work with.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Description:
This was the first of a number of more adventurous pours. Bolder colours such as the introduction of gold and the vibrant pinks and greens. The cells and lacing are excellent. Fluid art uses a lot of paint and this was also our first experiment with adding embellishments introducing shapes within the paints. You can see these in the photograph. The finished coaster has been sealed with two coats of varnish to protect from scratches and preserve the colours.
Acrylic Fluid Art uses top-of-the-range Acrylic Paints, containing high-quality pigments, polymers and binders. These are then mixed with a Pouring Medium. The combination of the two provides the required pouring behaviour, colour, viscosity and opacity.
