Full description
I’ve handprinted the fabric for this bag using my own mussels design inspired by mussel shells found on Brancaster Beach in Norfolk.
I create the design by hand carving the design into lino, then printing onto fabric using Cranfield Safewash inks.
I’ve handmade the bag using a grey/green medium weight linen and securely attached natural handles.
The bag is lined with a grey medium weight linen and there is a pocket on the inside. The pocket is divided into two, with room for a phone and a larger section for notebooks etc.
The bag has a loop and wooden button fastening.
I recommend using mild detergent and cool water when washing this bag.
It measures approximately 52x39x15cm. There may be slight variation due to it being handmade.
The handles are 59 cm end to end and are 27cm from the top of the handle to the bag. It can be carried on the shoulder or hand held.
