Welcome to Seren Wen Art!
"Queen of the Night" was inspired by the Welsh tale of Bloduewedd, which translates as "flower face". The was once a Welsh lord who was forbidden to marry a human, so a wife was made for him out of flowers by a wizard. However Bloduewedd was unfaithful to him and tried to kill him, so the wizard punished her by turning her into an owl so she could never see daylight again!
The original artwork is drawn in coloured pencil and PanPastels.

"Queen of the Night" is my original coloured pencil drawing of an owl, inspired by the Welsh tale of Blodeuwedd.
This listing is for a fine art giclee reproduction of the original artwork.
The drawing size is 8x10 inches and the mounted size is 10x12 inches. It's professionally printed in the UK on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm paper using archival quality pigment inks. It's shipped in a cellophane sleeve.
