Using donut style rings of differing sizes and fitting them all together took quite a long time. It’s like a 3d clay jigsaw. Fun but frustrating to join them successfully to make the bowl both functional and interesting to look at.

Full description
Hand built in stoneware clay. This fruit bowl is built from individual rings of clay. The rings are different sizes and joined together. It measures 9ins (23cms) wide, 5ins (12cms) deep. The bowl is glazed with a favourite blue glaze that breaks over the texture creating varying shades of blue and gold hues.
